Gift Giving

Astrology can help you find the perfect gift your friend or lover would actually choose for himself or herself.

ARIES loves things that are fun, fast and flashy, like a red sports car or a ride on a roller coaster.

TAURUS appreciates things that are both functional and beautiful. Buy fine jewelry, household treasures, art or music. Sensitive to colors and textures. Don’t choose beige or gray; go for colors and textures that “sing,” such as purple silk.

GEMINI wants books and machinery and enjoys knowledge and local travel. Meaningful workshops or new vehicle leaves a lasting impression.

CANCER is a homebody, so give an indulgent dinner or buy fine antique furniture, cooking implements, gardening equipment, plants or geological specimens.

LEO would enjoy a portrait of itself best of all, or at least of its lover and kids. Give a date to the theatre, ballet, its favorite sporting competition or a trip to Las Vegas.

VIRGO would love it if you cleaned the house for a change, as service is more valued than possessions. But if you choose to buy something, black and white is its preferred color scheme. Pets are their ideal treasure.

LIBRA wants you to be the gift; your partnership, time, attention and harmonious interaction in a relationship. If you buy a material gift, better make sure it is high-end and classy, as cheap and tacky just won’t do.

SCORPIO loves the mysterious, so give gifts hidden within other gifts, like you in indigo-blue sheets. While insurance doesn’t sound romantic, Scorpio appreciates the gift of financial security. If you can actually find a legitimate psychic, a reading is a great gift.

SAGITTARIUS would like an extended honeymoon or an uplifting spiritual experience with one’s guru. Go horseback riding in the backcountry.

CAPRICORN would value vintage treasures or books on old traditions of its people. Do a day trip to a museum or go antiqueing.

AQUARIUS wants the newest computer with every conceivable invention attached to it. Contributing energy to their favorite humanitarian cause would also be a valued gift.

PISCES would enjoy a visit to the “Mighty Mo,” a submarine ride (or a submarine!), surfboard or a yacht – whatever keeps it in the ocean. Sensitive to animals, take Pisces to the zoo or aquarium.
