Secrets of Happiness

Most people think happiness is contingent on externals, saying, “If only I had this acquisition, if only the ideal mate discovered me, if only I were thinner, shorter, taller, definitely richer, THEN I would be happy for sure!” But usually after people obtain their desired end, they are still unhappy.

Astrology shows us an inner road to successfully navigate the challenges of life, not just a choice of outer roads to success. Many times challenges are based on unconscious expectations rooted in false premises, like “Life should be my way.”

Each astrological sign, regardless of your sun sign, gives a key to becoming firmly established in a state of inner happiness, unshakable by the tsunamis of outer life.

ARIES is passionately creative. It LOVES doing things that light its own fire and which illuminate the lives of others.

TAURUS swims in the senses, which ecstatically unite it with the Divine. Music, arts, gemstones and building what is both beautiful and useful are its joy.

GEMINI is happiest sharing not only knowledge but higher consciousness as well. It loves the mind and physical movement.

CANCER feels so honestly and deeply that at first it thinks happiness is dependency, but it learns that happiness is inter-independence.

LEO loves to love and be loved. Ego-validation proves to not create happiness, but loving courageously and intelligently provides happiness.

VIRGO is a healer at heart, happiest when being of meaningful service and relating to animals.

LIBRA needs relationships that are fair and equal. It must hold to honor or happiness will elude it, regardless of rationalizations.

SCORPIO intensely yearns to merge, but also yearns to dissolve obsolete intimacies.

SAGITTARIUS finds ultimate happiness realizing God is in its heart, and it is in the heart of God. Wherever it may travel, it will find the same truth.

CAPRICORN savors treasures from the past, and power based on self-mastery, instead of being stolen from others.

AQUARIUS is happiest when uniting the diverse elements of society and charitably uplifting the struggles of less fortunate people.

PISCES sometimes falls for phony “happiness” first, drugs and alcohol. Once it catches on to its delusion, it finds true happiness is connecting the subtle unseen world with the finite physical world.
