Sexuality

Sexuality in one’s birth chart is indicated by the Eighth House; the sign Scorpio; its ruling planets, Mars and Pluto; the asteroids Eros, Frigga and Sappho; the trans-Neptunian planet Zeus and the sign occupied by Venus, which shows erogenous zones.

The sexual revolution of the 1960s taught people that “free love” was not about freedom or love. It liberated society from both the repression and responsibilities of the 1950s.

Now, in the 21st century, contemplative people are no longer willing to waste sexual power on relationships lacking emotional intimacy or potential commitment. Context has become imperative for meaningful sex.

ARIES enjoys the infatuation stage of romance: passion, excitement and hurrying. However, it can become easily bored in its relationship.

TAURUS adores sensuality — slow, patient, tactile, silk sheets, beautiful background music and dimmed colored lights.

GEMINI finds the most erogenous zone to be the intellect, enjoying mental stimuli, but is capable of losing focus.

CANCER wants to be nurtured and cared for, not just physically gratified. It wants to be fed sumptuous feasts and cuddled before and after intimate connections.

LEO wants to love and be celebrated, but it must avoid being selfish or seeking partners to gratify ego.

VIRGO is analytical, wanting its lover to be clean and predictably consistent. Sometimes reserved, it may hold back from intimacy until its partner can meet its exacting standards.

LIBRA wants a relationship, not just sex. Refined and artistic, it wants to be wooed, not seduced, so that it feels like a loved person instead of an object.

SCORPIO wants sex, not just a relationship. It may need to differentiate between lust and love, physical desire and choosing its companion intelligently, as it freely shares resources.

SAGITTARIUS could be the perennial bachelor, enjoying sexual freedom. If spiritual sharing exists, sex can reach the heights of tantra.

CAPRICORN is conservative and responsible about birth control. It may need to get or give itself permission to enjoy sexual ecstasy.

AQUARIUS is open to erotic explorations. Not easily emotional in nuclear bonding, it may separate head from heart, and body may get lost in between.

PISCES makes love from its soul, needing an ethereal bond with its partner. If it uses drugs or alcohol, its performance will be compromised, as it contracts into itself.
