Biblical
Aromatherapy
by Robert Bike The Bible mentions about 232 plants by name, or closely enough to figure out what plant is meant. Of these, 24 are aromatic plants; that is, parts of the plants can be pressed or distilled to get an essential oil. Essential oils are the lifeblood of plants and have tremendous healing capabilities. The
healing power of plants is the basis for modern medicines.
Originally published in manuscript form in 1999, I completely revised the book and added illustrations. To order
Biblical Aromatherapy in paperback, List price $24.99; introductory offer $19.99 To order the pdf version and download to your computer or phone, The electronic version is only $2.99! |

Norman Kuhlemeier was my 6th grade teacher. He attended Union School, the old Junior High School, and Freeport Senior High School, graduating in the Class of 1947. Then he went to Illinois College, the oldest college in Illinois, at Jacksonville for his Bachelor's Degree. Later he earned a Master's Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb.
Norm
taught for 33 years in the Freeport School District that included 27 years
at Blackhawk School in Sixth Grade and the last six years at Carl Sandburg
Middle School when all the Sixth Graders were moved there in 1982.
Norm was born in Freeport and lived most of his early life on Empire Street
halfway between Oak and Walnut Streets. He used to play on the field that
later became the Blackhawk School playground!
His wife, Rose Ann, is originally from Madison, Indiana. Her family moved
to Freeport when she was in Sixth Grade and she graduated from FHS. She
also taught in the Freeport School District.
They raised 4 children and have lived at the same address on Roosevelt
Street in Freeport for nearly 50 years now.
Norm has been a Commander in the VFW, President of Golden K Kiwanis Club,
volunteers where needed and bowls in two leagues.
